… is to pray for the nations. Praying for the nations will allow God to develop in us a burden for the peoples of the world. It will also direct our hearts in seeking His Kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. (Matt 6:9-13)
For years, the book “Operation World” has provided believers with a guide to pray for the nations daily. This is helpful for a number of reasons:
- It informs us about the different peoples of the nations
- It makes us aware of the specific needs of the peoples
- It keeps us disciplined in praying daily for specific peoples
Fortunately, the Operation World website has the daily prayer guides available online. You can make this your homepage, bookmark it, or visit this blog as I will regularly update the people of the day.
